Scuba crepe is a fantastic dressmaking fabric that is especially designed for women's apparel, in particular formal attire such as evening gowns, office dresses, blazers and more. The best feature of scuba crepe is the compact stretch which creates a smooth, figure hugging finish by cleverly contouring over any lumps and bumps. This fabric had a medium thickness making it suitable to use without any lining but still retains the flexibility of a stretch jersey fabric. The front face of the fabric has a subtle nubbly texture whilst the reverse is completely smooth.
