Fleece is generally a soft, insulating fabric which can have both short or long piles and different levels of thickness depending on the quality you choose. This trendy fabric called Bouclé has French origins and is directly translated to the word 'loop'. This is because Bouclé is created by weaving a combination of loose and tight yarn coils resulting in that signature nubby but fluffy texture. Bouclé is most commonly used for jackets, coats and upholstery- in particular statement furniture like chairs and sofas.

Silk Touch is a soft and stretchy jersey made from a blend of polyester and elastane. It's got a super silky and supple handle, making it a dream to wear on the skin. The beautiful semi gloss finish which looks iridescent, is particularly stunning under soft lighting making this fabric suitable for event decor as well as dressmaking. Velvet, also known as velour is a luxurious fabric in both appearance and texture. Velvet usually has a short but plush pile making it super soft and irresistibly smooth to touch. Available in crushed, smooth, printed, stretch and lots of different qualities and colours. Velvet is an excellent fabric for dressmaking, upholstery, event decor, DIY, crafts and lots more.
